Dear All, we’re on the way to Thrillerfest in New York. This is the one absolutely indispensable writer’s conference for us. Not only do we enjoy spending time with other authors, but inevitably we learn something new, make a deal for a new book, or just come home afterwards refreshed with the batteries completely charged. One of the realities of writing on an isolated ranch in Wyoming is that we don’t get a lot of time with our peers in the writing business. Thrillerfest scratches that itch. And, of course, being in New York City for a couple of days always provides a stark contrast from the buffalo, deer and elk, and occasional coyote, all of whom fulfill the function of being our nosey neighbors.
We’re also presenting on a panel Saturday morning on the ins and outs of co-authoring. After that we sign books for the fans. Should be a fun panel for the both of us.
Hopefully by the time we return we’ll have some updated information on new book contracts. Meanwhile, read in health!

Still trying to find out if the German books that are coming out on Kendil will also come out in book form. I don’t have a kendil and would rather not buy one just for two books. I prefer to flip pages!

Emons: Welcome to the world of publishing! We’ve had a request that we hold the release of COMES A GREEN SKY and FRACTURE EVENT. At times the book business is like the military. Hurry up…and wait! Since they’re not coming out in the next couple of months, don’t buy a Kindle. And we hear you about flipping pages. Just saw Mom. She’d just started the last chapter of a thriller she was reading when the battery went dead!

My 85 year old mother is just finishing up book 3 of the contact series. She has loved every minute of your story telling. She has marveled at the way your stories paint vivid pictures in her mind’s eye. Your books have helped her get through very trying times of losing her daughter, my sister, to cancer and just weeks later having to put her dear dog companion of thirteen years down. Your contact series also helped me to get through those tough times as well.
Take care and I am looking forward to your next marvelous publication.
