Hi All,
The following article contains some fascinating new information about North American prehistoric cultures. Archaeologists have always speculated about the relationships between the Western Stemmed Point Tradition and the Clovis Tradition. It’s nice to finally be able to add another piece to the puzzle, but this new info poses as many questions as it answers. Which is, of course, the fun of archaeology.

HI….I met you at the Geer/Gear/Gere Reunion in Maine a couple of years ago. Have been reading and enjoying all your books. There is a reunion again at the homestead in Ledyard, Conn. this next year (2013) It is interesting, we have lots of family historical stuff. Info on the Geer/Gear/Gere website. Just want to say I love the way you write, it is so easy reading. I am waiting for the next book in the series First North Americans…Marilynn

Dear Marilynn: Thanks so much for the kind comments. We still talk about the reunion in Maine. And we learned so much! With everything happening in publishing these days, we can’t say for certain what our schedule is going to be like in 2013. Keep us posted as we get closer to the date. Meanwhile, we’re doing our best to keep fresh new books in our readers’ hands. Thanks for the kind comments. We send our best to your and your family. Hope all is going well.
