We spent the past week in Texas, and it was flat-out gorgeous. The temperature was in the 70s and green grass was coming up everywhere. What a delightful change after Wyoming’s recent sub-zero temps.
When we drove in last night, our seven mile-long ranch road alternated between being a rushing river of snowmelt, and a mud wallow. It’s so pretty today, though. Almost 55 degrees with sunshine and no wind. The buffalo ran to meet us when they saw us today, surrounding the truck and snuffling at us. They always wonder where we’ve been and the scents attached to the truck apparently give them clues. They seemed fascinated by the exotic smells of Texas. Probaby the green grass scent made them hungry…
Hope everyone is well and warm.
