The past thirty days have been an adventure, ranging from family heart attacks, to major blizzards, to good old fashioned angst.  Who knew that such a thing as an Implantable Cardiac Defibrillator existed?  Fascinating  scientific achievement.  If the heart starts to beat in a fast irregular rhythm the ICD stabilizes it.  If the heart stops, the ICD restarts it.  What a medical miracle.  Thank you, Boston Scientific for creating such a device.  You helped us to keep a beloved family member with us.  

On another front, we just finished the final edit for PEOPLE OF THE SONGTRAIL, about Viking contact with North America’s native people’s one thousand years ago.  We are eagerly looking forward to holding the hardcover in our hands—coming in May, 2015!
